Sunrise granny square sweater

The Sunrise sweater is inspired by the magnificent sunrises of my hometown, with its hues of red, pink and orange against a backdrop of unobstructed sea and sky. It also takes inspiration from the iconic granny square, one of the most popular crochet techniques. This pastel palette is a staple of Sureña Crochet and just makes me happy. 

This pattern uses US crochet terminology and is written in English. Measurements are in both inches and cm. This is an easy and customizable design suited for beginners and advanced beginners. The instructions follow a size S and give you directions to adapt it to your unique measurements. 

It is clearly written in a narrative style, and includes 23 photos and multiple helpful tips to guide you along the way. 

The pattern is for personal use only. Distributing, reselling, sharing, altering and rewriting it is prohibited. Using this pattern for commercial use is also prohibited. 

This design requires 4.5 mm hook and 5 skeins of medium-bulky yarn (100gr each) as well as 1 skein (approx.) of various yarns of your choice to make the colorful design part of the front panel, sleeves and neck.
